Levels of Care

There are two distinct levels of care provided at Mockingbird Hill that adhere to the practices of the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM), the gold standard for treatment: ASAM 3.5 and 3.1.

  • ASAM 3.5 -- Clinically Managed High-Intensity Residential Services -- This level of care is for adults who have only recently ceased actively using substances. It provides 24-hour care with trained counselors to stabilize multidimensional imminent danger and prepare for outpatient treatment.
  • ASAM 3.1 -- Clinically Managed Low-Intensity Residential Services -- This level of care is for individuals who have detoxified from active use of substances. It provides a 24-hour living support and structure with available trained personnel for clinical services.
