For decades, addiction treatment centers have been limited in their vision -- focusing on serving only small groups, or only the wealthy and well-insured, and usually without robust medical or support services. Mockingbird Hill sidesteps the pitfalls of the past, one of the first major facilities that serves a large population with comprehensive healthcare and accepts Medicaid.
Whether you are able to give a little or a lot, we sincerely thank you for your donations. They allow us to continue operating, and for people struggling with addiction to find assistance and hope. Aspire Indiana Health is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and all gifts are tax deductible.

Since we are a registered 501(c)(3), we can accept gifts of assets that have appreciated over time. These donations can come from stocks, bonds, IRA rollovers, or other assets that have value. The benefit of these types of gifts is two-fold. One is that the donor will receive a tax deduction and second they will avoid capital gains taxes. Each and every asset will have to be evaluated, but in most instances, this option can give the donor the opportunity to support Progress House without immediately taking money out of their pocket.

Naming Mockingbird Hill as your life insurance beneficiary can be a wonderful way to help our organization.
Under a corporate matching gift program, gifts made by a company’s eligible employee to non-profit organizations which meet the company’s guidelines are matched with company or corporate foundation funds.
Depending on your individual circumstances, these plans can increase your income, reduce your taxes, unlock appreciated investments, relieve you of investment worries and ultimately provide very important support.
We welcome in-kind gifts of men’s clothing and shoes, shoes, socks, hygiene products, AA Big Books, and pillows (which must be new due to health regulations). No other donations will be accepted. Your donations go directly to our clients.
If your business or organization is interested in conducting a drive, please email us. Please feel free to contact us at any time to discuss any giving options or to make a cash donation over the phone.
The Indiana NAP offers tax credits of up to $2.5 million as an incentive to help nonprofits leverage contributions to help economically disadvantaged areas or people. Each year, the Housing and Community Development Authority (IHCDA) offers up to $2.5 million in NAP (Neighborhood Assistance Program) tax credits to be distributed by 501(C)(3) nonprofit corporations. These organizations, including Aspire Indiana, can offer the credits to donors in order to help boost contributions.
IHCDA NAP tax credits work like a rebate from the state. By giving to Aspire Indiana through this program, you will reduce your state tax liability by 50% of your donation. Any person, business, or organization that has Indiana income tax liability are eligible to give through the program. Donors can also give over a period of time within the same calendar year to build up to a larger contribution.
Contact us to see if there are credits still available for Aspire.

If you give online, be sure to check that there are still tax credits available, and then indicate in the online giving form that you wish for your gift to be processed through the IHCDA NAP program.
